Working Principle
- Hot vapor enters the shell side of the condenser.
- Cooling water flows through the tubes.
- Heat is transferred from the vapor to the cooling water through the tube walls.
- As the vapor loses heat, it condenses into liquid.
- The condensed liquid (condensate) is collected and removed, while the warmed cooling water exits the tubes.
